About

I am a Ph.D. student in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, advised by Prof. Umit Ogras. My research focuses on thermal modeling and management of 2.5D-3D architectures, thermal-aware design, domain-specific SoCs, and specialized hardware accelerators, leveraging machine learning to optimize system performance.

Previously, I worked at Samsung Electronics, where I contributed to 3D IC test chips as part of the system architecture and RTL design engineering team. I completed my undergraduate studies at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur, where I collaborated with Dr. Neeraj Goel, Dr. Dip Sankar Banerjee, and Prof. Muhammad Shafique on various projects.

In case you want to know more about my research or want to collaborate with me, please feel free to send me an email at ahkanani@wisc.edu.
